Camomile Cleansing Butter | Review

Camomile Cleansing Butter | Review

Hi guys so this week i went out and did a little shopping and for a long while now i have been look for something to remove makeup without removing to much of the goodness in my skin. An on my little trip i found this. Which is the Camomile sumptuous cleansing butter by The Body Shop. This is like a really strange solid butter that you rub onto your face and it turns into oil, that you then wipe away with a cloth (though i really would recommend you get there luxury face chamois as it is so soft and nice to cleanse with). I have noticed a massive difference in my skin since starting to use this i have a reduced amour of dry patches and i do think it has reduced a little redness i use to see when removing with a wipe. It doesn't leave your skin feeling oily and is suitable for all skin tips but best on dry skin! I definitely recommend this if your looking for a new was to cleanse.

Favourite Bags | Fashion

Favourite Bags | Fashion

  1.  ( Calico Fish ) This bag is made and screen printed on by Rhyll Plant. I really love this design and i often use it to carry library books in to and from home along with anything else i find. It just adds something a little unique to every outfit.
  2. ( Aztec Bag ) I picked this one up when i was wondering through a clearance store a little while ago, although i do know it is one that can be found at Myers. Its just a simple low hanging bag which has been well loved. I actually use to use this as an art pencil case but it works much better as a bag! (It did use to have pompoms attached to the zipper which i carefully lost)
  3. (Vintage Small Bag) Now my new favourite, i was gifted this one recently and i have fallen totally in love. It has a buckled strap which allows you to change the length and a nice little zip pocket inside! Very vintage feel....

OLD SKOOL MATTE LEATHER VANS- As its getting a little chilly i though id buy a new pair of shoes that are a little more practical than your basic sandal. I have been loving the Adidas all star shoes in this style and i will admit it was a big decision for me. But in the end i settled on these. There Leather with the classic Vans stripe.  I won't lie and say breaking these in was easy i found i got a lot if blisters and pain to begin, but it was definitely worth it. There possibly the most comfy things i have ever had. I wear these with blue socks and a skinny leg pair of jeans but i think they look good with everything. Most definitely a new favourite.

Revlon Whipped Review | Beauty

Revlon Whipped Review | Beauty

Today I thought id do a little review for you all ( I was in the easter spirt when I took this photo, if you can notice the backdrop hehe ).I'm a massive fan of the Revlon colourstay foundation but I'd never tried the mouse or 'whipped' product, so when I noticed it was on sale I grabbed it! When I first used it I found it had a very funny yet familiar smell, which kind of put me off. Despite that I love this foundation.  It's really smooth yet matte, very true to colour. I find that it's very longwearing and looks more natural with a tiny shine to it as the day goes on. Id say the coverage is medium but most definitely buildable (not heavy at all). A massive benefit of the packaging is it really does allow you to fully use the product up, which was harder with the pump foundations ad it looks super classy.
Hope you found this helpful..

Monthly Happys | Bethy Beauty

Monthly Happys | Bethy Beauty

Hi everyone, so a little while ago i decided to make a conscious effort to be a little happier each day. So i thought id share a few little ways I've stayed happy this month.

Eating is obviously an essential part of living, however i find what i eat greatly contributes to my mood for the day. I love to eat healthy although i will admit i do feel a need to indulge in a little junk food each friday night. Which i always regret. So this month instead i have been preparing myself little old school treats to sit in the cupboard to deal with my sugar crashes.

I have also begun to bring a little bit of nature into my room as i just find its uplifting to wake up to and is just such a cute addition to any bedroom. My collection is just a few cactus and succulents as they are very hardy and easy to care for and last a little longer than a bouquet of flowers.

Next is green tea. I got hooked on this after i tried it on a health kick. It just makes me happy and a big cup of this is sometimes the only thing dragging from me for my bed in the morning.

Another thing i have been putting a little more effort into is exercise. This i find has a massive difference on how i feel. I don't do anything to intense just a few regular exercises and  bit of stretching i find always leaves me feeling great.

Lastly skin care. I have really been getting into baths recently as you may have noticed it so relaxing and i find that things i can pop in the bath that moisturise my skin with minimal effort are great. I always notice a big difference in my skin after i have a bath. Lush products are always a favourite with so many benefits but i know there are a few cheeper alternatives..
Hope you enjoyed....

Lush | Easter

Lush | Easter

Easter is one of my favourite times a lush (apart from Christmas) so I went a little crazy.. Firstly I ordered the carrot soap which I can't really identify the smell of but its good. Its made mainly of carrot oil and coco butter leaving your stun with a soft moisturised feel. Immaculate eggception bath bomb and the Immaculate eggception bath bombs both have a hidden surprise inside (a chick or bunny mini bath bomb). Mine seem to smell different although they are both lemon and grapefruit scented. Next i grabbed the Fluffy Egg bath bomb because jelly bean sensed water sounded great. Alhough it is very similar smelling to a christmas favourite snow fairy so if your not a fan of that i wouldn't recommend that one.. Next i ordered the Golden Egg bath bomb, which is a cream egg inspired bath bomb but reversed (so a creamy soft outside with a hard inside) this is basically honey i washed the kids in a bath bomb. Which i love. Lastly is something i didn't order the Rub Rub Rub scrub which was given to me in my order as a random act of kindness that you pass forward. Im giving this to my mum so she let me open if for the photo, from what i smelt it was very salty (oh probably as its sea water scrub hehe)
Hope you enjoyed..

ASOS Order | Sale

ASOS Order | Sale

So as ASOS was having a bit of a sale i decided what a better time to pick up a few little things.. Now i will admit the perfume isn't from ASOS but it was on sale and is i believe available on there!

Im utterly obsessed with fawns so obviously seeing this i had to have it now this one wasn't featured on the sale but as it wasn't to pricey i thought id show you. This is a little vintage inspired lunchbox, I'm just going to sit this one up on a shelf as its to cute to use and I'm a little scared the print might come of as i wash it.

Now this one i picked up form a small little chemist i spotted with a big sign saying up to 60% off. Now i will admit i went in looking to find the daisy perfume by Marc Jacobs (Oh so fresh). But instead i grabbed this as who can resist a $80 discount? Its quite a floral sweet sent that at first i wasn't so keen on as it is a little different for my previous fragrances but with a little bit of time i have grown to really love this stuff.

Lastly i picked up this blush by the balm of ASOS whilst it was on sale. Oh boy i love this stuff. its super pigmented with a little bit of shiner that i apply just to the apples of me cheeks and i think it really brightens my face. This is definitely an unexpected favourite.

Vintage ASOS | Fashion

Vintage ASOS | Fashion

While i was scrolling through the ASOS sale i noticed this lovely shirt (which may i add, had a reduction of $40) i noticed that ASOS actually sell vintage and boutique clothes. Which i had never noticed before.  These are all so lovely and well sized. Definitly worth taking a look if your into that.  I pair this one with a pair of boots and black skinny jeans (this ones in small).

Four Things I Cant Live Without | Beauty

Four Things I Cant Live Without | Beauty

Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs is a bright, floral, fruity fragrance that has undertones of musk and I'd say beauty! This  is from the set of four daisy perfumes in 4ml samples. Though I loved them all the instant I smelt this I was totally obsessed and I definitely recommend it if your wanting to try out a new perfume!

Instablur by the body shop is a velvet feeling primer that I use almost every day, though I don't think it really prolongs my foundation it does help with a smoother even coverage.
Next up is my Estée Lauder double wear concealer, I use this on my dark circles as I have purchased it a shade lighter, it applyes well with a brush though if I have dry under eyes it does crease, but I love this most on the redness under my nose and on blemishes it's very good with coverage.
Last is the eyeshadow in the shade pink by Designer Brands, I use this as a blusher as I like it better and have only recently when writing this realised it was an eyeshadow. Never the less it's a bright gorgeous pink that reminds me of the Estée Lauder!
Hope you liked it....

Cactus + Succulents | Home

Cactus + Succulents | Home

Now I'm no plant expert and i will admit i have (Unintentionally of course) killed a fair amount of plants in my time, wiether thats forgetting to water them or keeping them in places with little sunlight. so finding a durable plant that can withstand my commitment issues is perfect. Which is why i have of the recent fallen in love with cactuses. Even though they still need a little TLC there far less hard to handle and the best bit is they survive inside. All they need is a well lit area, a little water and food each time the soil fully dries! And they look cute too.

This one was a present from my parents.

The one on the left is from my boyfriend and on the right is a little planter my parents found for me at a vintage stall. I then added in this little succulent which i think makes it super cute.

Hope you liked it..

Minimal Makeup Look | Beauty

Minimal Makeup Look | Beauty

Ive been wearing a little less makeup as of recent as it can look just as good as a lot so i though id share my favourite products for creating a minimal look.

Like everyone i start with my base, mine is a BB cream by the body shop in shade 02. It comes out white in colour and then adapts to you skin tone. Its very light weight and hydrating for the skin.

Then i go in with a concealer, mines the double wear by Estee Lauder. I only apply this around my eyes and any considerable spots. This one has a very matte Finnish and is great for blemishes.

Next i move on the brows and go in with an angled brush and a revlon link eyeshadow but there was no colour named though it was the middle shade brown. ( Which i didn't have a photo of ). Even though this is a minimal look i always use a highlighter on the top of my cheeks and on my cupids bow ( this ones by Loreal in the light shade).

Then i use my Volume Million Lashes mascara also by Loreal, which is my all time favourite mascara as it adds extra volume without the clumpy look. It lasts all day and can be removed easily with a makeup remover wipe.

Then lastly as i always have dry lips, i go in with a balm or my natural beige lipstick also by Loreal which is just lightly pigmented and super moisturising.
Hope you liked it..

Lomography | Lifestyle

Lomography | Lifestyle

Ive been experimenting with new less advanced cameras, i wanted to share this one. Its a Fisheye camera by Lomography the company that is all about old style cameras. The flash on this is incredible as it doesn't drown out the images. Its definitely worth a look if you interested in having a bit of old style fun and as always the links below! have a lovely day

Soaps | Beauty

Soaps | Beauty

A little birdy sent me these soaps that they picked up at Emu Plains Market quite a while ago. The instant i smelt them i knew it would be love. They smelled so natural and fresh. I always feel as clean as a bean after i use this with some super soft skin. The best part about it is there completely palm oil free so if you want to pick some of these wonderful little soaps there made by Urthly Organics.

New Products | Beauty

New Products | Beauty

Ive been searching every where for the Dior BB cream which they don't stock in my local retailer. So instead i picked up two products as i wanted to try some new things.

The first is the ESSTE LAUDER Double Wear Foundation in the shade Pure Beige. The packaging is gorgeous and a litre heavy the only downside is it needs a pump for easier product application as its quite runny and hard to get a small amount out (also has a very strong smell). Although the coverage is one of the best i have tried it feels light on the skin and has a matte velvet Finnish and blends easily into the skin. Although it does last all day i think it feels quite heavy after long wear and when mixed with a powder. But It goes perfectly with there concealer alone!

The second product is from NYX. Its a lipstick in the shade Butter Buerre which is like a brown of shade it appears a little lighter in the photo that it does in real life. Its s beautiful colour that is totally matte. Its not incredibley moisturising but it does feel incredibly soft on.

Lush Loves | Beauty

As i recently received my order from lush in the mail i thought i should share with you a few of my favourite goodies. All of which i believe are available almost year round. Enjoy!

Bright Side Bubble Bar  | This is my all time favourite so you can imaging my excitement when lush added it to there regular collection. It a bubble bar so you crumble it under running water for soft and cloudy bubbles. It smells like orange fruit tingles.
❁
Honey I Washed The kids Soap  | This is a honey sweet smelling soap with a honeycomb texture on top. it make your skin feel so refreshed and smooth.
❁
Think Pink Bath Bomb |  This bath bomb is definitely floral in sent with a hint of vanilla. My skin always feels so fresh and smooth after i bath in this.
❁
Sex Bomb Bath Bomb | I'm not even sure what thins smells like but i like it. Its such a fun one to fizz on a night in and is so relaxing

February favourites | Beauty

February Favourites | Beauty

As February is almost over I've decided to show you guys a bit of what I've been loving this month. These products were all new to me and I've loved them the moment i tried them. Bare in mind i have been obsessed with metallic and glitter this month so there might be a bit of a trend hahah.

Clarins | Summer bronzer 2014
This bronzer has been my main love this month. The packaging of this product is gorgeous. Not to mention the actual product which has two shades of brown and a small Dimond of gold. Which together give the perfect bronze not to mention it smells amazing!

Revlon | Colourstay foundation
I've heard so many people say how much they love this foundation and I'm no different. The colours are so easy to match to your skin tone (mines in the colour sand beige). It's so easy to blend in and lasts all day (without powdering) with a very buildable coverage and dewy Finnish.

Topshop | Galaxy
Maybeline | Hyper Dimond
I've been loving the sparkle and Metallic shades on my lid recently so these are my two favourites. The first is from top shop in the shade 'galaxy'. The texture feel quite chalky but once applied to the lid blends well and is very soft. It's a very pigmented metallic brown with a shimmer. I also have this wonderful shimmer pallet with four different eye shadows and a gold which together will take your breath away!

MOR | Perfume in marshmellow
My favorite sent for the month was one by MOR in 'Marshmallow' which I was given to me for christmas in a gift pack along with the matching moisturiser and soap. It's a sort of musky, sweet smell that's really hard to identify you just need to smell it yourself to really understand it's beauty.

Lush | Love Locket (Valentines collection)

And finally Lush bath bombs which I have fallen in love with all over again. I can't even begin to explain how amazing these guys are. If you love a bath and good things for your skin this shop is exactly where you need to be.
